Wednesday paddle 5/17, 5:00pm

David Huehner here.  In lieu of Warren, I will be initiating this week’s Wednesday paddle.  

As usual, the route will go south along the shore of Bellingham Bay to Clark’s Point and back. Moderate pace (3-4 knots or whatever the group decides). Be sure to RSVP.

By the way, the Boulevard Park parking is starting to get a little tight. Consider the CBC launch as the easier option.

When: Wed., April 17. 5pm launch from south-end beach at Boulevard Park. Stopping at the Community Boat Center launch around 5:05 to pick up anyone leaving from there. Please be ready to launch on time.

Route: Southbound along the shore to the end of Clark’s Point (around 6.5 miles).

Conditions: Sun with some clouds, wind around 10 knots.

Dress: Be ready for cool weather and cold water. Wetsuit or drysuit required at this time of year. 

Skill Level: Level 2.
