Wednesday Wake Paddle – 5pm, April 24

David here again.  It’s almost time for another Wednesday night paddle!  This week’s forecast looks less windy than last week.

As usual, the route will go south along the shore of Bellingham Bay to Clark’s Point and back. Moderate pace (3-4 knots or whatever the group decides). Be sure to RSVP.

By the way, the Boulevard Park parking is getting tight. Consider the CBC launch as the easier option.

When: Wed., April 24. 5pm launch from south-end beach at Boulevard Park. Stopping at the Community Boat Center launch around 5:05 to pick up anyone leaving from there. Please be ready to launch on time.

Route: Southbound along the shore to the end of Clark’s Point (around 6.5 miles).

Conditions: Cloudy with some sun, temperature in the low 50’s, wind from the south around 7 knots with higher gusts.

Dress: Be ready for cool weather and cold water. Wetsuit or drysuit required at this time of year.

Skill Level: Level 2.
