Wednesday Wake paddle: 5pm, April 10

Never mind tonight’s rain and wind. Wednesday’s forecast calls for some sunshine and mild breezes. Perfect for a paddle. First launch is at 5pm. Hope to see you there.
As usual, the route will go south along the shore of Bellingham Bay to Clark’s Point and back. Moderate pace (3-4 knots or whatever the group decides). Be sure to RSVP.

By the way, the Boulevard Park parking is starting to get a little tight. Consider the CBC launch as the easier option.
When: Wed., April 10. 5pm launch from south-end beach at Boulevard Park. Stopping at the Community Boat Center launch around 5:05 to pick up anyone leaving from there. Please be ready to launch on time.
Route: Southbound along the shore to the end of Clark’s Point (around 6.5 miles).
Conditions: Sun with some clouds, wind 3-5 knots.
Dress: Be ready for cool weather and cold water. Wetsuit or drysuit required at this time of year. If you are gear limited, email me and I might have something you can use.
Skill Level: Level 2.
