Yellow/Jones Island Trip Rescheduled to May 3-5

Due to some extenuating circumstances I have rescheduled the Yellow-Jones Island 2-Night paddle to Friday May 3 – Sunday May 5.  Because of this we now have space for two more paddlers.  If you are interested please let me know.  We will now be leaving early Friday May 3 and returning Sunday May 5.  We will launch from Odlin Park on Lopez and paddle to Jones Island to camp, about 8-9 miles of paddling.  Saturday we will paddle over to Yellow Island and visit the caretaker there and tour the island and all of its wildflowers.  We will also paddle around the Wasp Islands.  That day should be about 6-8 miles of paddling.  Sunday we will paddle back to Odlin Park through Harney Channel.  Thus we will circumnavigate Shaw Island in the process.  6-8 miles of paddling on the final day.
