Diablo/Ross Lake Camp Out

Squeezing some more juice out of summertime. 
Requests are happening for Ross Lake so
Thursday, August 27 MEET (not BIB) at Colonial Creek Campground boat launch at 9:30am. Return Sunday evening.
Camp either at Thunder Point on Diablo Thursday and go to Ross Friday or all 3 nights at Ross.
It depends on what golden ticket permits I can score as Marblemount and NCNP are mind-blowingly popular this year.
Paddle up Diablo Canyon, take the scenic shuttle truck ride up around Ross Dam to the higher Ross Lake. Shuttle is $30 (+tip) each way per person/boat cash only. Camping and parking are free.
Since WAKE is covid-precaution compliant, I will respectfully say masks at launch and shuttle and distancing awareness at camp.
Waterfalls, glacier views, water colors I cannot describe.
